Friends of Jamaica Now Accepting Philanthropy Application For its Programs
As a nonprofit organization, FOJA strives to address some of the needs of Jamaicans that include
, but are not limited to, the following four categories:
- Education – to include support for programs in infant, primary, all age, primary and junior high, secondary, and technical schools in the most educationally disadvantaged areas in Jamaica.
- Health and Medical – to include the support of hospitals and clinics in the most impoverished areas of Jamaica.
- Social – to include support of programs that strive towards the advancement and the uplifting of the Jamaican people. Such programs might include programs geared towards children, families, elderly, etc.
- Other – to include support of other programs such as cultural and civic programs, scholarships, and community activities.

All applications and supporting documents must be received or be postmarked by August 31, 2009. We will not accept any application that is postmarked after that date.
